Huell E. (Skip) Connor, Jr., M.D., Strategies founder, has been widely recognized as an expert in managing change and repositioning businesses. He was engaged in the private practice of clinical psychiatry for more than 30 years, specializing in problems of the CEO and business owner, working with hundreds of companies in many industries.

Dr. Connor’s past work was instrumental in resolving conflicts over stock, money, position, role, succession, personality, and direction. His cutting-edge ideas have helped many business owners and CEOs clarify key management roles, implement changes in their organizations, and reposition their companies to gain market share and increase profits.

The combination of his medical model approach, management theory, and personal experience are the foundation of the 2nd generation of leadership at Strategies today. This medical model approach, or the ability to look at the parts of a company in the same way a physician would examine a patient, allows Strategies to identify complex symptoms of dysfunction within companies and their management systems. This translates the diagnosis into simple and practical solutions that make sense and does this in a manner that informs, entertains, and motivates you to action.

In addition to founding Strategies, Dr. Connor co-founded and served as chairman and CEO of Advanced Manufacturing Systems, Inc., Baltimore Tufton Group, Inc., and Ximerex, Inc.
