Rochelle Mendelsohn, Managing Director of Strategies, Inc., has a passion for helping business owners and leaders identify, understand, and navigate through the changes that can take them from their current state to the full potential of their vision. For more than 15 years, she has guided family businesses, partnerships, and entrepreneurs through the opportunities and challenges of scalable growth, long-term business continuity, succession, organizational effectiveness, exit planning, enterprise governance, changing industry dynamics, and more.

Rochelle’s particular expertise is in translating clients’ seemingly complex challenges into simpler frameworks that yield viable, manageable solutions and executive focus. She accomplishes this through diagnostic assessments, strategic planning, targeted tactical planning, purpose-driven meetings and retreats, advisory boards, development of structured organizational processes, and executive coaching.

Prior to joining Strategies, Inc., Rochelle developed her multi-disciplinary mindset and expertise while working for the Quaker Oats Company and PepsiCo in roles spanning corporate planning, worldwide supply chain strategy, sales management, marketing, and internal consulting on business optimization, with much of her tenure at these companies dedicated to the growth of the Gatorade brand in the U.S. and around the world.

Rochelle earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Policy from The University of Chicago, as well as a Master of Science in Operations Research and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences from The University of North Carolina. She is a long-standing member and a Fellow of the Family Firm Institute, through which she earned an Advanced Certificate in Family Business Advising.

Rochelle treasures the time she spends with her husband and two adult children. In her free time, she particularly enjoys any chance to hike and immerse in nature, experience Broadway theatre, or unwind with either a board game or a Sudoku puzzle.
